This manifesto supports strategic investment in transport links, public assets and long-term development projects that improve connectivity, reliability and economic growth. We will deliver modern infrastructure, ensure value for taxpayers and build a stronger, more resilient London for future generations.
Our commitments:
Completion of Hammersmith Bridge as double-level system by 2030, on budget.
Strict bidding guidelines for all contracting and road works.
Phased and enhanced refurbishment of Heathrow Airport. Renaming of Terminal 5 to “The Winston Churchill Terminal.”
Permanent solutions for decaying bridges, (Albert, Broadmead Road, Vauxhall) including wide under-river tunnels.
