Every woman in London deserves to live, work and travel without fear. This manifesto commits to safer streets, stronger protections against violence and abuse, greater economic fairness and practical measures that empower women to feel secure, respected and supported. A stronger city is one where every woman can thrive confidently.
Our commitments:
ABH, GBH, abuse, harassment or any violence and crime committed against women shall incur stricter and higher criminal penalties.
All poorly lit streets in London to be properly illuminated to ensure increased safety, and visibility, and to avoid altering and elongating nighttime commutes.
To schedule and hold emergency surgeries for single mothers who are relying on universal credit and approaching the poverty line.
Work to reform the Firearms Act of 1968 to enable women to carry pepper spray to be used exclusively for the needs of self defence.
Revisions of the UK’s Equality Act, 2010 to ensure stricter compliance for equal pay for women and prohibit any salary reductions, especially after childbirth.
Remove elements pertaining to “harassment in the workplace” from nondisclosure agreements for both genders.
Banning of wearing realistic masks in public that alter your appearance or camouflage your identifiable features.
When women feel safe, respected and empowered, communities flourish. We will build a London where violence is punished, opportunities are equal and every woman can walk the streets with confidence and dignity.
