London deserves a transport network that is safe, efficient and fit for the future. This manifesto supports smarter mobility, improved accessibility, reduced congestion and practical investment across our roads and public transport systems. We will make travelling across the capital easier, faster and more reliable for residents, workers and visitors alike.
Our commitments:
All bikes and electric scooters to require license plates.
Bus routes re-directed to avoid high street congestion. Return of hop-on hop-off bus.
Sliding glass doors on all London Underground stations (phased).
All Uber/app and mini-cab drivers must pass “The Knowledge.”
Flat fares from Heathrow to Central London for all licensed taxis.
Increase 20MPH zones to 30MPH. Simplify speeding rules and reduce fines/courses.
Abolish ULEZ. Incentives for EVs and car pooling.
Step-free access at all Tube stations by 2035.
